The ST1000 allows a user to send photos to popular social networking sites including Facebook and YouTube as well as transfer images to Bluetooth-enabled devices. The built-in geo-tagging capability allows you to keep track of where you have travelled, with the camera pinpointing your location, displaying the city, state, and country on the camera’s LCD screen.
Samsung Australia’s Digital AV Marketing Manager, Sagar Dave said, “The ST1000 leads the way in digital imaging innovation. The ST1000 is GPS enabled with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and DLNA all included – this new powerhouse point-and-shoot camera from Samsung raises the bar and sets a new standard.”
The ST1000 comes with a 3.5-inch wide touch screen LCD and uses Samsung’s unique haptic technology. Being DLNA compatible, the camera makes it easy for a user to upload or share images to other compliant devices. In addition, the ST1000 records 720p HD video at 30 frames per second in H.264 format.
The Samsung ST1000 is available now for $549.
