Viewsonic and IceTV have announced that they will be giving a free one year subscription to IceTV to users who purchase selected PC minis.

IceTV’s General Manager, Matt Kossatz said, “IceTV is extremely excited by the new range of mini PC’s from ViewSonic and is delighted to be working closely with the company to help promote these products as the ideal media centre solution for the home. This is the first time we have seen a device so small yet so powerful, and we have seen many AV-style form factor PCs come and go.”
Viewsonic’s Country Manager, William Tse said that they want to provide the complete media experience.
“ViewSonic recognises the added value IceTV extends the consumer for their home entertainment and media centre enjoyment. We are pleased and excited – the partnership of supplying the IceTV EPG and ViewSonic mini PC offers consumers a true media centre experience.”
“With the increasing number of channels on free-to-air television, IceTV and ViewSonic present a media centre solution that will simplify and enhance users’ enjoyment, allowing them to watch what they want, when they want, with the simplicity and flexibility to do more,” added Tse.
IceTV has also announced that it has released its interactive software for Windows 7 which will allow users to use IceTV’s premium EPG service and advanced series recording features in the new OS.
