Yamaha’s new A-S700 2-channel amplifier and CD-S700 CD player are designed to produce high-quality natural sound, with the A-S700 featuring gold-plated input terminals and an aluminium front panel.

By engaging the A-S700’s Pure Direct switch, the signal bypasses the tone, loudness, balance controls and other circuits, being fed directly to the discrete power amplifier. The lowest possible noise interference is produced resulting in high quality audio reproduction.
The CD Direct Amplification feature matches the CD signal level so each stage produces less noise resulting in improved S/N ratio and maintenance of the amp’s total gain balance.
The AS-700 uses high-grade gold plated input terminals that provide a secure connection and ensure high quality signal transmission. The aluminium front panel not only looks stylish but also improves sonic performance.
The CD-S700 features Yamaha’s exclusive Silent Loader, Pure Direct Technology and a USB port on the front panel. Silent Loader uses Synchro Wire rather than noise-producing gears. This coupled with the highly stiff disc tray ensures quiet opening and closing operations for silent tray movement.
The CD-S700 also provides high-quality play back of music files stored on digital audio players or USB memory devices. It will also play MP3/WMA files stored on CDR/RW discs.
