BenQ is releasing a fully-functional camcorder this month that incorporates a load of features with a shorter price tag.
The BenQ M11 Camcorder is an amateur-friendly camera that incorporates simplified versions of professional options and settings like ISO control and time-lapse photography so that any user can get the most out of their video.
The M11 is stocked with a 10 megapixel CMOS sensor that captures 1080p video, but it’s the features that trump the quality.
One of the star functions is ‘dual stream’ recording which simultaneously creates a HD video and a compact video size that’s suited to uploading online on sites like Facebook and YouTube without the HD wait.
Another is time-lapse photography that opens up long exposure imagery to the amateur shooter.
It also has up to 5x optical zoom and a three inch touch screen that comes in handy for some of the stand-out features.
ISO settings don’t have to be tinkered with to get the right exposure level on the M11. Instead, users tap on the screen where light levels look correct and the camera tailors the exposure to that.
The camera also comes with a pre-recording function to automatically record three seconds of footage before you click the record button so that you don’t miss spontaneous action from slow reaction.
The M11 is slated for release this month and will be selling for $249.
