The Canon PowerShot SX130 IS is aimed at beginners and mid-range users. Users can adjust the settings of the SX130 IS to suit their skill level using Canon’s Easy Mode, Intelligent Auto and Manual control.
The SX130 IS also has an increased 12x zoom, 28mm wide-angle lens, a 12.1 megapixel sensor, 3-inch screen, and Digic 4 Image processor.
Canon has also introduced the PowerShot S95 – a 10-megapixel camera that comes with a high sensitivity CCD sensor. It also features a bright f/2 Canon lens, allowing users to capture motion without blur.
It also comes with Hybrid IS which reduces shift camera shake (when the camera moves horizontally in relation to the subject). The PowerShot S95 also comes with High Dynamic Range mode.
The PowerShot S95 and SX130 IS will be available next month, with pricing to be announced at a later date.
