Dyson have revealed their next major product for the cord-free vacuum category. The Dyson V8 is available in two variants and will feature a 425watt
motor that provides powerful suction across a battery life of forty
minutes – double that of its predecessor.
It’ll also feature a new MAX mode that provides a higher caliber of suction (115AW) when necessary
Designwise, the V8 is made from the same polycarbonate material as
riot shields – which Dyson indicate will provide both durability and
mobility.
Dyson say the V8 utilises acoustic engineering to generate 50% less
noise and a hygienic dirt ejector to empty the appliance in a single
action.
According to the company, the V8 builds “on ten years of cord-free
technology and motors expertise” to “offer several key evolutions
compared to their predecessors.”
The Dyson V8 Animal will retail from major outlets for an RRP of $749
while the Dyson V8 Absolute (which features additional brush options)
comes with an RRP of $849.
Both units come with a 2 year warranty.
