Fitbit and Snap are aiming to motivate consumers to live a more healthy and active lifestyle with the launch of the first-ever Bitmoji clock face.
The new clock face will feature fun and dynamic avatars of the wearer that delivers updates throughout the day based on personal health and fitness data, activity, time of day, and weather.
Exclusive to all Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa smartwatches — including the recently released Fitbit Versa Lite — and available for free via the Fitbit App Gallery.
Bitmoji avatars are created through Snap’s social media channel Snapchat, and this collaboration will see the character changing based on what the Fitbit wearer’s personal stats, the time of day, weather, and more tracked by the Fitbit device and synced with the app.

There are more than 50 Bitmoji clock face variations including waving hello in the morning, dancing with the alarm clock, throwing confetti when the daily step goal is reached, sleep-walking when it’s time for bed, becoming an avocado when you log food and carrying an umbrella when rain is on the forecast.
Since its launch in 2017, the Fitbit App Gallery has partnered with numerous developers and brand app partners to offer close to 3,000 smartwatch apps and clock faces.
The aim of this latest partnership is to give Fitbit-users a virtual companion who will motivate them to reach their fitness goals.
“Giving our users experiences that are personalised, engaging, and delightful is at the core of what we do at Fitbit,” said Tim Rosa, CMO of Fitbit.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Snap to give our millions of users around the globe a creative, shareable depiction of their health and fitness progress through this imaginative concept.
The Fitbit x Bitmoji dynamic clock face is the collective result from both Fitbit and Snap teams, to create a new way to help motivate people to be healthier and have lots of fun doing it.”
The new Bitmoji clock face is available on the Fitbit App Gallery for the Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, Fitbit Versa, Fitbit Versa Special Edition, Fitbit Ionic, and Fitbit Ionic: Adidas Edition.
Once downloaded, users will be prompted to connect their Bitmoji account via Snapchat and the Fitbit App settings page.
