Focal has unveiled its new Sib Evo range featuring support for Dolby Atmos.
Building upon the Sib range originally launched in 2002, Sib Evo consists of two new satellite speaker and a subwoofer available separately or as part of two new home theatre systems.
The standard Sib Evo two-way bass-reflex satellite loudspeaker features an ABS housing and a high-gloss black finish, while the Sib Evo Dolby Atmos satellite loudspeaker adds a full-range speaker driver for reproducing Dolby Atmos effects.
An 8-inch speaker driver is combined with a 200W Class D amplifier in the Cub Evo Subwoofer, which features “all Focal’s hi-fi subwoofer design codes” with a matte black finish.
Sib Evo loudspeakers will sell for RRP $385 per pair and the Sib Evo Dolby Atmos loudspeakers for RRP $750 per pair, while the Cub Evo Subwoofer’s pricetag is set at RRP $500.
Two Sib Evo packs will also be available:
- The 5.1 Sib Evo pack, featuring five Sib Evo loudspeakers, two wall mounts and a Cub Evo priced (RRP $1250)
- The 5.1.2 Sib Evo Dolby Atmos pack, featuring three Sib Evo loudspeakers, two Sib Evo Dolby Atmos loudspeakers, two wall mounts and a Cub Evo (RRP $1500)
All products in the range will be available from Focal stockists in September.
