Garmin has taken the wraps of its vivomove analogue watch, decked out with activity tracking features and one-year battery life.Featuring an analogue-style face, the vivomove’s watch face features two bars, allowing users to view step progress and inactivity at a glance, with the vivomove also tracking how well users slept by monitoring movement and restlessness.
The vivomove automatically syncs with the Garmin Connect Mobile app, a free online community where users can track workouts, sleep patterns and trends, along with joining online challenges to compete against friends and earn virtual badges.
Among the different models, there is the vivomove sport, vivomove classic, with leather straps, and the more upscale vivomove premium, with leather straps and a full steel body.
Interchangeable leather and silicone strap options and a variety of case finishes, including black, white, rose gold-tone, stainless steel and gold-tone, allow users to customise the vivomove to their personal style.
The vivomove is swim and shower-safe, and has a water rating of 5ATM.
Beginning shipping in May, the vivomove will be available in sport (black or white) for $249.00 RRP, classic (black with leather band or rose gold-tone with leather band) for $329.00 RRP and premium (stainless steel with leather band or gold-tone steel with leather band) for $479.00 RRP.
Accessory sport bands will be available in white and black for $49.00 RRP, with leather accessory bands to be available in black, rose gold/white, dark brown and light brown for $99.00 RRP.
