Aussie accessories manufacturer, Cygnett, has expanded its portable charger portfolio, by launching its new 27,000 mAh USB-C power bank ($179.99), which claims to charge up to three devices at once (e.g. a laptop, smartphone and tablet).
Cygnett asserts the ‘ChargeUp Pro 27k’ is its most advanced power bank yet, delivering a total of 72W courtesy of 3 USB outputs – 1 x 60W USB-C (PD), 1x 12W USB-C and 1 x 12W USB-A port.
The ChargeUp Pro 27k is compatible with 2018 iPhones, and claims to deliver up to 98 hours of battery life (i.e. 7 full iPhone XS charges).
The power bank incorporates 18W fast charging and pledges 0% to 50% iPhone battery life in just 30 mins (requires USB-C to Lightning cable).
The ChargeUp Pro 27K also delivers 29W fast charging for the iPad Pro 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch (requires USB-C to Lightning cable).
Concerning laptops, Cygnett claims its Power Delivery technology generates four times the standard 15W for USB-C ports, providing 1 full charge on a power-hungry MacBook Pro 15-inch.
The power bank also pledges to charge a 12-inch MacBook 1.6 times, and a 13-inch MacBook 1.3 times.
Catering to the time poor, the ChargeUp Pro 27K aims to fully recharge itself in 5 hours via a USB-C wall charger.
Its driven by a 30W input, which pledges to be 3 times faster than a traditional power bank.
Utilising high density lithium polymer batteries, Cygnett claims the ChargeUp Pro 27K is one of the thinnest power banks on the market.
The new Cygnett ChargeUp Pro 27K is available to purchase online and at selected retailers, and ships pre-charged and with a USB-C-USB-A cable.
