New ‘Levels’: Samsung Headphones Pump Up Volume

Finally, Samsung goes big on headphones.Mobile friendly Samsung headphones and Box speaker have just been announced – Level Over (ears), Level On (Ears), Level In, and Level Box Bluetooth speaker, as the Koreans look to get a slice of the lucrative headphone market.  

All Levels have in built mic’s to take calls and will be available for purchase beginning in mid-May in most markets globally. 
“Samsung understands the importance of music and audio in the lives of our consumers,” said JK Shin, CEO Mobile Communication at Samsung. 
“With the Level series, we have crafted an incredible line of audio products designed for the mobile user with organic sound, premium design aesthetics, and optimized mobile audio controls.”
Level Over is Samsung’s flagship over-ear headphone with HD organic sound, touch controls, wireless Bluetooth pairing, and a 50 mm Dynamic Driver made with high performance Neodymium for a deeper, more natural sound. 
Level Over also uses a hybrid type active noise cancellation, on the headphone and the mic. 
There’s also a Level app, specially designed to enhance the user experience. 
Level On ear headphones have a full range of natural sound, dampening the air flow with a 40 mm dual layered diaphragm. 
Level In earbuds have a powerful three-way speaker system that covers all the low, mid, and high sound naturally with clear sound separation.
Level Box, Samsung’s compact Bluetooth speaker has a solid metal design complete with a full metal grille, a large (56mm) stereo speaker and a passive radiator. 
The dedicated hardware design provides noise reduction and echo cancellation, and has a built-in microphone for voice calls. 
To activate, just place a Near-Field Communications (NFC) enabled smartphone like the Galaxy S5 near the speaker to get sounds via the Box. Devices without NFC connect via Bluetooth pairing system. 
There’s also built-in buttons to play or stop a song, adjust the volume and accept calls. 
Users can enjoy up to 15 hours of continuous playback through the Level Box’s rechargeable battery.
The new audio gear comes just weeks after Samsung launched Milk Music 200 ad-free stations, another sign the mobile giant is going hard on music.

Samsung has also invented an EQ system called SoundAlive, where they can customize their audio experience to fit any type of music, media, or listening environment
Through equalizer, Samsung Level Over adjusts the EQ to create the perfect balance of sound, apply 3D audio, bass and clarity effects to every media, music, with 25 settings for different scenarios like Pop, Rock, Jazz and Cafe mode. 
The Samsung Level app also has a protective and smart volume monitor to prevent hearing loss along with enhanced text-to-speech capabilities.
Samsung Level series will be also available for purchase through the Samsung Online Store (store.samsung.com) in selected countries. No word on local availability yet.
