Multimedia Technology and Gumdrop Cases have announced a partnership to distribute their latter’s full range of rugged cases for HP, Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, Acer, Asus tablets in Australia.According to the company, “Multimedia Technology has been appointed
to work with its extensive range of resellers in the corporate,
government and education markets. In collaboration with the leading
brands and reseller partners, Gumdrop will help to provide ruggedized
cases for non-rugged devices improving the in-field experience for users
and minimizing company downtime caused from device breakages.”
Two cases in particular have been announced to head off the range.
The DropTech Miix 510 Case is designed for Lenovo 2-in-1 devices and
features a low-profile and easy-to-apply design fully integrates with the kickstand, ports, and keyboards. It even incorporates a secure Pen slot for the users’ stylus and dual-layer impact-resistant protection.
Meanwhile, the DropTech HP Elite x2 1012 is a case designed for 12-inch devices that promises to surround the edges of your HP tablet to absorb impact with its thick rubber corner bumpers but remain thin and lightweight enough to not add too much extra bulk. They say its been drop-tested and designed with scratch-resistant armor that provides great protection whilst still leaving the camera, charging port, headphone jack and other tablet features fully accessible.
Both are expected to ship in January 2017.
