Chinese smartphone brand Oppo is set to further their presence in the mid-tier market, announcing Australian availability for both their A77 smartphone and a new retail partner.
The A77 features a set of 16 and 13-megapixel cameras and a speedy 4GBs of RAM. Oppo are also talking up the A77’s narrow 2.0mm bezel and slim unibody design.
It’ll be rolling out through the retail channel next week through Oppo’s retail partners like JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks.
The A77 will also be available through The Good Guys for the first time. However, it won’t arrive there until a week after other partners.
OPPO Australia Executive Director, Michael Tran, says that high-end photographic capabilities are a key focus for Oppo and that they’re ready to bring their strengths in the area to bear.
“We know a picture is worth a thousand words, so we want to give our customers the best technology to tell their story,” says Tran.
“What we’ve managed to pack inside this phone, at the price point it will retail at, is pretty exceptional.”
The new smartphone will be available from the 10th of July (in black and gold variants) and will be priced from $448.
