Samsung has today launched two new vacuum cleaner ranges, designed to help out with the housework, save time and make vacuuming an easy chore.The new line-up features a suction model, the POWERbot VR9200, engineered for a deep and thorough clean across a range of carpets and surfaces, along with two dusting and sweeping models, the VR5000 Point Clean and VR5000 Light, suited for homes with hard floor surfaces.
The POWERbot is Wi-Fi capable, providing users the ability to clean their floor from almost anywhere via the push of a button from their compatible smartphone, using the Samsung Home Appliances app.
Equipped with a new digital inverter motor, the POWERbot “has suction power that lets it pick up dirt and dust with every clean”, designed for use on both carpets and hard surfaces.
The POWERbot additionally features CycloneForce technology for powerful performance, a Height Performance FullView Sensor for easy obstacle detection, Visionary Mapping Plus, which memorises floor plans, helping provide consistent and efficient cleaning, along with Easy Pass Wheels, designed to allow the vacuum to move around the home with ease and control.
Samsung states the Point Clean and Light “are designed for people who don’t have a lot of daily messes, but need support in the dusting and sweeping of their home”. Features include Auto Docking technology, four cleaning modes and Visionary Mapping, along with an optional silent mode setting.
The Point Clean also features a Daily Schedule setting, and Point Cleaning technology with a remote control, allowing users to “help guide the robotic vacuum to the areas that need the most attention”.
The POWERbot is available at Harvey Norman, priced at $1,799 RRP. The Light is available at The Good Guys, priced at $749 RRP, with the Point Clean to be available in November, priced at $849 RRP.
