Samsung has announced its second dual-camera smartphone after first introducing similar technology on the Galaxy Note 8.
The new J7+ is the latest entry in Samsung’s J series smartphones and features a 13-megapixel f/1.7 sensor and a 5-megapixel f/1.9 sensor for the rear-facing dual-camera, and a 16-megapixel sensor for the front-facing camera.
It also features a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen, an octacore MediaTek Helio P20 processor, 32GB of storage expandable by microSD and 4GB of RAM.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE and a dual-SIM slot, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB-C port. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor, face detection security and Bixby home.
While the J7+ will retail for less than a third of the price of the Galaxy Note 8 at around $490, it is currently only available for pre-order in Thailand. It is not yet known whether the J7+ will see a wider release.
