Sharp has released a 65-inch Aquos LCD screen that claims to have 100Hz technology, better colours, a dynamic ratio of 15,000:1, and comes with a number of ports for added connectivity

Deputy Managing Director of Sharp Corporation of Australia, Denis Kerr, said “We believe that LCD is far superior in terms of image quality, energy consumption, brightness and sound reproduction. The 65-inch screen has been made possible thanks to extensive research and considerable development investment by Sharp and we are anticipating a strong response from the marketplace.”
The LC-65RX1X comes with 3 X HDMI, 2 X component, 3 X AV-in, PC-in, S-Video, RS-232C, AV-out, optical/audio-out and headphone-out. Other special features include built-in Teletext, multi system TV tuner, as well as RoHS compliant and advanced optical picture control (OPC).
The LC-65RX1X also features SRS TruSurround XT that produces ‘theatre-like audio’ and is further enhanced by features like Bass Enhancer for reinforcing bass sound and the powerful output of 7.5W per channel and a 15W subwoofer.
The Sharp LC-65RX1X is available from all leading retailers priced at the RRP $13,999.
