Suunto’s latest sports-focused smartwatch received Australian pricing and availability this week, with the arrival of the Spartan Trainer Wrist HR.
“The Suunto Spartan family of sports watches grows today with the launch of Spartan Trainer Wrist HR – the slim and lightweight multisport GPS watch for active sports enthusiast,” the company said in a press release.
Though a little smaller in size than its older predecessor, Suunto insist it delivers great, versatile training features, daily activity tracking, as well as comprehensive heart rate measurement (powered by biometrics supplier Valencell).
Weighing just 56 grams and water resistant for up to 50 meters, the Spartan delivers ten hours of battery life on a single charge.
The Suunto Spartan Trainer Wrist HR comes in five distinctive models – Gold and Steel Ocean, Blue and Black – and will be available nationally through local retailers from the 31st of August.
Suunto Spartan Trainer Wrist HR arrives at $399.99 for the standard offering and $449.99 for metal bezel variant.
