You won’t require or see a tangle of cables linking the neat and tidy X300A Wireless to an amplifier. KEF took care of that pesky problem by building the amplifiers inside the X300A’s elegant cabinets.
Forget about skimping on the amplification because clearly KEF hasn’t. A total of four amplifiers (two per speaker) are used to power a pair of A300A Wireless speakers.
As well, KEF has chosen to give each X300A Wireless speakers a discrete, high-quality digital to analogue convertor (DAC) and a high resolution, noise-free digital USB connection that in wired mode would handle a resolution of 96kHz/24-bits.
This resolution is required to process the latest generation of PC derived high-resolution music files available on the Net these days.
But all this leading edge processing technology and amplification wouldn’t be worth a jot if it wasn’t accompanied by refined speaker drivers. The X300A Wireless use KEF’s acclaimed and award winning Uni-Q drivers.
