Windows phablet is on its merry way to Telstra
The 6 inch Nokia Lumia 1320 has a HD LCD screen, Windows Phone 8 with built-in Microsoft Office so it’s good for work, a 5mp camera and supports Full HD video playback.
The 4G phone doesn’t quite have the processing punch of some of its quad-core rivals in the phablet space – like HTC One Max or Samsung Note 3 – it has a dual core Snapdragon 1.7 GHz processor, but is cheaper.
Aimed at the business users Microsoft Office lets users edit documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Office 365 and Lync. It runs Internet Explorer 10, and comes with 7GB free storage, and memory is expandable to 64GB.
Windows 8 OS syncs with Outlook, supports mail services including Yahoo! Mail, Outlook Mobile and Gmail.
Priced at $408, it is regarded as an affordable business phone, and also comes on Telstra plans including $60.
“If you have been waiting for a Windows phone with a big screen you’re phone prayers have been answered with the latest (big) member of the Nokia Lumia family arriving at Telstra on 4 February 2014,” says Andrew Volard, Director
Device Management, Telstra.
