Recent reports indicated that Australians are able to pre-order the newly announced Google Pixelbook i5 model notebook via Amazon’s website, which will ship at the end of this month.
However, the tech giant will not bring the high-end, i7 model to Australia.
Google announced the Pixelbook alongside multiple other products at an event yesterday in San Francisco.
Amazon will be shipping the base i5 model to Australia, with pre-order options appearing on their site.
Amazon’s pre-order will be available in either two configurations: the i5, 8Gb RAM, 128GB or the i5, 8Gb RAM, 256GB.
Pricing begins at A$1283 for the 128GB Pixelbook and peaks at A$1540 for the high end model.
The main attraction of yesterday’s event, was the new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL and news broke yesterday afternoon that pre-orders for certain models had sold out.
The Pixelbook will launch October 31, and consumers can pre-order the product here.
