The Motorola T325 is an in-car Bluetooth speakerphone that is easy to use. It is perfect for on-the-go users who plan to use their mobile phones while driving.

The T325 clips onto the sun visor of your car and is easy to set up. Located at the front of the unit is the power switch that turns on the unit on/off. By sliding and holding the switch, users can pair and connect any Bluetooth-enabled phone to the device.
Once connected, the device will automatically download your ‘favourite’ contacts. After synchronising our Blackberry Bold, the T325 retrieved the ‘Caller ID information’ from our handset, which was essentially our call log. Users can also manually download up to 1,500 phonebook contacts to the device by pressing both the call and mute buttons at the same, although your phone must support Bluetooth Phone Book Access Profile for it to work. The Mute/Favourite Contacts button can mute calls and allows a user to make a favourite contact call.
But perhaps the highlight of this speakerphone is its power-saving function that allows it to last for a couple of days. By setting the switch to the automatic on/off position (centre), the speakerphone will disconnect and turn off when a phone is more than 20 feet away for more than 20 seconds.

When you return back and open the car door, the speakerphone automatically turns on and tries to re-pair with the mobile. The unit will also give an audio prompt, allowing users to find out how much battery life is left. The unit comes with an in-car charger but it could have been better if Motorola included a charger that we can use at home or in the office.
Call quality was good throughout our tests, although there were times when the person on the other line said that we sounded ‘far away’. The speakerphone was also able to reduce echo and noise, with our contacts hearing us despite having our windows open.
The T325 lasted for two weeks before we had to charge it. Motorola claims that it has a talk time of up to 17 hours.
Overall, the Motorola T325 is an inexpensive speakerphone that delivers. It is easy to pair up with a Bluetooth-enabled handset, has good voice quality, and is smart enough to last for weeks.
