Yamaha Music Australia has released two new Apps for the iPhone and iPad to enable browsing of its Aventage catalogue.
Available from the Australian iTunes App Store, the Aventage range is the first of the company’s extensive audio line up to be supported by iOS Apps.
Justin d’Offray, AV Product Manager at Yamaha, said the App was a necessity because of the build up of its customers’ expectations.
He said: This App [allows] customers to use their iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to take control of their receiver and
Blu-ray player anywhere in their house.”
The new Aventage iPad Catalogue App has been designed to provide consumers with a more
interactive method of researching the range – a method not available on traditional
Consumers are able to fully interact with the entire range via images and videos, while the detailed specification list provides all necessary product information with complete dealer listings showing where the products can be purchased.
Dealers also benefit as they now have an easy and attractive way to display and show the major features of the range, giving the customer a complete tour before a formal demonstration is undertaken.
The new Aventage Control App provides users with access to various receiver functions including setup and option menus, in addition to controlling the relevant zones available on the receiver.
Advanced operation includes browsing and selecting internet radio stations, viewing and playing music over the network from a MAC, PC or NAS device with album artwork displayed on the user’s iPhone/iPad in the App.
The App also offers full control of the BDA1000 Blu-ray player when connected to an Aventage AV Receiver.
